If you’re feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled with your life, by the end of this video, you’ll know the top three signs that will tell you not only if you were made to be an entrepreneur, but also if you’re fit for success. For a long time in my life I did not feel quite right. I kept asking myself, what is wrong with me? Why am I not happy? Why do I not feel fulfilled even though I have this dream job or I’m in an amazing program that I worked so hard to get into?

If you’re feeling this way and not feeling quite right deep down in your gut and you’re wondering if maybe you were meant to start your own business, then keep on watching. There are three traits that separate people who want to be entrepreneurial from those who are actually more likely to succeed in starting up their business and having it be a more of a natural fit. Okay, so let’s get into the three signs that will tell you if you are born to be an entrepreneur. The first sign is that you are okay with working alone because you are a resourceful self starter. You like doing things your way because you do the work to find the answers to the questions that you have. You are extremely proactive about solving problems, meaning that no one needs to tell you to do it or how to do it, and if you can’t you figure out who can help you solve it.

Now, if your heart is set on entrepreneurship and you’re telling yourself right now that you’re not proactive at all or resourceful, then this is actually a skill that you could probably just acquire through practice. For myself, I’ve always been pretty proactive and ambitious with solving my own problems. However, I’ve been able to become more of a self starter throughout my life experiences. For example, one time I had a boss who told me that I needed to do as much research as possible and figure out the answer to any problem that I have before going to him first. He wanted to be the absolute last resort before I came to him because his time was very valuable. Sometimes there’s experiences that make you become more proactive. However, this is something that you could practice on and improve your ability to be a self starter. The second sign that you were born to be an entrepreneur is that you have a high proof of resiliency.

To be extremely resilient, you need to not only be very confident in yourself, but also optimistic. You need to believe in yourself more than anyone, and when someone kicks you down figuratively, you say, “Nope, I’m going to use that as motivation to prove you all wrong and then you win and you also do it with a smile.” Being resilient also means that you aren’t afraid to make mistakes because it means when you make a mistake, you’re going to learn from it and you love learning. Now, the third sign that you were a born entrepreneur is that you embody a growth mindset. Now you can Google what a growth mindset means specifically, but essentially a growth mindset means that you love change, you like uncertainty and you love learning and growing. You absolutely love a challenge and you want to make an impact and make a difference in the world.

If you have a growth mindset, everything that you do in your life, you want to make sure that you are developing and growing as a person. So there’s a lot of similarities and overlaps amongst these three signs and that’s completely okay. Now you know exactly how to tell if you were born to be an entrepreneur.
